Current and Former Players of the RPM Golf Classic, We had another great year even though our numbers were down. Bill Conner, Jeff Thoman, Barry Birckhead and Joel Todino took home the Scramble Champion trophies. Barry Birckhead, the second newcomer in a row to win the title, took home the tournament champion trophy. It came down to the last hole where Chad Payne had to sink a birdie putt for the tie. The putt fell short and Birckhead was crowned champion. The Stone Mountain facility received rave reviews from the participants and so I am sure we will make a return visit in the future. We are going to try for the Robert Trent Jones courses at Auburn next year (if they ever learn to aerate their greens in April). So set your calendars for May 14-16.
